"How do I know if I need therapy?"
In short, everyone does. Seriously, life is not easy. It rarely turns out the way we expect. We are often thrown curveballs, and we often find ourselves struggling through them. Most of the time we can handle them on our own or with the help of our family and friends. However, occasionally we cannot. This is a good time to seek therapy.
Other times, we may notice that some of the things that once helped us, are now harming us. We may have learned things from our family, that do not serve us well in our adult relationships or with ourselves. You may not even know what these things are. A lot of times, we recognize that our relationships are struggling or that perhaps we are struggling, but cannot pinpoint why or how. Therapy can help bring the clarity you need, as well as introduce new ways to relate to others and ourselves.
Sometimes, it's bigger than that. Sometimes we have been through some difficult traumas. We have been placed in situations that have harmed us, and we need help to stop the pain and heal. Therapy can help navigate you through that healing.

What To Expect From Me |
I believe that we all have an innate ability to be who we wish to be. I think life circumstances sometimes get in our way, and I view therapy as a way to clear some of those barriers. I like to think of my role as a therapist, as someone who walks beside my clients on their journey to self-awareness and self-fulfillment. I will never pretend to be the expert of YOUR life, but I will aide you in discovering the things that are harming you or holding you back.
