New Clients : You may first choose to have a complementary 15-minute consultation (done via Telehealth) to ensure I am a good fit for your needs, and to answer any questions you may have. Simply select "Initial Consultation" as your service. This is a good place to start if you are unsure.
Both in-person and Telehealth sessions are available. My office is conveniently located in Southpark, 5950 Fairview Road, Suite 740, Charlotte, NC
*Please note, this is an appointment REQUEST only, I will still need to approve your appointment. Once it has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email with details and intake paperwork.*
All paperwork needs to be completed online via the client portal before our appointment.
If you have selected a Telehealth session, this email will also have the link to join our session. If you plan on using your laptop you do not have to download anything, simply click the link. If you use a smartphone or tablet, you will need to download the free SimplePractice app. I will provide detailed instructions as part of your intake package.
If you selected an in-person session, your email will give you details on location and parking.
After you make an appointment request please remember to check your email for all of this vital information. If you cannot find it, please check your junk email or reach out to me.
Important Telehealth Considerations:
You will need an internet connection that is at least 0.35 mbps. For optimal results, a reliable, high-speed internet connection with a bandwidth of at least 10-15 mbps will minimize connection issues and provide the best quality.
Additional Tips:
- Find a quiet private place to have the call. It is imperative that you are comfortable and feel free to talk.
- Couples - if you are joining together, laptops tend to work better. They are hands-free and both of you can be seen easily.
- I recommend joining the video appointment a few minutes early to test your settings.
- If you can connect to the Internet, but are having trouble joining the video appointment, I recommend testing your internet connection.
